This article reviews the Sony NV-U51 sat nav system. It has now been replaced by the NV-U52 but even so it is not a bad sat nav system. It shares many of the features of the NV-U53 except it doesn’t have a widescreen.

Sony nav-u NV-U53 Sat Nav Review
November 9th, 2007 · 657 Comments
This article reviews the recently released Sony NV-U53 satellite navigation system. Sony is a name you might not immediately associate with sat nav systems but the NV-U53 performed very well.
The NV-U53 is at the budget end of the Sony nav-u range but still packs a good punch. There are a few minor niggles but overall this is an impressive looking device.

Navman N40i GPS Navigation Review
October 17th, 2007 · 90 Comments
This article reviews the Navman N40i GPS navigation system. I’ve tested a couple of Navman systems before which have been disappointing so I was interested to see if the N40i would fare any better. The N40i does have one trick up its sleeve, a built-in camera so you can navigate to photos you’ve taken elsewhere.

Mio C210 Review
June 18th, 2007 · 6 Comments
Overall the Mio C210 is a great satellite navigation system. I was surprised how many features it had when you consider the cheap price tag. The controls are a bit fiddly unless you use a ballpoint pen, and it is a bit too chunky to fit into a pocket, but apart from that I’ve got no real complaints. If Mio could develop a slimline version of this sat nav system then they would be on to a real winner.
If you want a cheap, reliable sat nav system then I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
