Sounds like some hardware fault internally. I’d ring Navman tech support, you might need to send it off for repair.

can anyone help???
I have a message that appears everytime I turn my satnav on, it reads ‘ fatal application error’
program: gwes.exe
exception: 0xc00000005
address: 00023174

I can’t use it at all now so if anyone could shed some light it would be much appreciated.

My guess is it won’t work here in the UK until you have UK or European maps installed. You may need to remove the Aussie maps to make room for the new maps. Might be an idea to give Navman a call.

Was given a S50 before i left New Zealand because it had Aussie maps on it worked fine over there could search all Australian addresses etc but as soon as i got over here the screen pops up saying Invalid product key please recover key. When i try to recover the key through the Navdesk software i get an error saying “Error registering your Navman. Please close the window and follow the prompts. (E00050). Any help would be good

Is there a serial number on the bottom of the GPS or on the DVD packet? What do you want to do with the product key? are you trying to register it or buy additional maps?

Hi Selwyn,
I had a look on the Australian Navman web site and you can purchase USA and Canada maps for $179. The maps would be stored on an SD card which you would then slot into the S50.

Live in Perth, Western Australia. Wanting to know if it is possible to use navman S50 in USA as I am going on holiday and will be driving alot
