Yes,that’s the problem,I was in a rush just pulled it out and I’ve tried to reconnect it and it does recognize it on computer but even when I use the option to disconnect it,screen stays the same until I take out the usb cable and the red cross shows,

How did you disconnect the Navman from your computer? There is an option in Windows to disconnect a device from your computer, did you do that before unplugging the USB cable?

If you just pull the USB cable out it’s possible the Navman still thinks it is connected to your computer. You could try reconnecting the Navman to your computer and disconnect again and see if that fixes it.

Are you using the original Navman car charger that came with the S50 when you bought it, sometimes 3rd party chargers can cause this problem.

i need some assistance please,i wanted to charge my navman using the computer and since then my navman is stuck on the usb mode,i’ve tried to use the reset button but when i turn it on,it goes back to the usb screen with a red cross showing its disconected,what should i do to get it working again,any ideas?

There should be a small reset button on the Navman that restores it to factory settings. Try pressing that, but before doing it copy everything from the Navman to your computer. If you find that the reset loses any data then restore it back from the computer.

I have a Navman Mitac Navigator and Ive Lost the Data on Screen and the only way I can see anything thats on here is on my computer and when I unplug it from the Computer its Like its Stuck in Charger or USB Mode and I cant get anything. but that from Screen to Screen on the Navman ,and I was wandering if there was a Programme so I can get back to the Data Setup without Losing any data on it no Streets or anything comes up without putting it through the Computer

Sounds like some hardware fault internally. I’d ring Navman tech support, you might need to send it off for repair.
