Some Tips if your Sansa isn't recognized by your computer Put the slide button all the way down and restart your sansa hold the left button down on the keypad while it starts to sync. Your computer will recongnize it and sync together. Currently I'm having a problem converting Videos with Sansa Media Converter it only gets to 49% and stops for hours.

Well Dean,
Nothing seems to work. Did another reset holding the button up for a few more seconds like 30plus but there is still no change...It still plays the music but right now it just stays dark and the pause, Fast foward, rewind, all work...but you cant see what you are doing.
bummer,

Don,
Try doing another reset, but this time slide up and hold the power button for a much longer period, try 25 seconds and see if that makes any difference.

My fuze is one of the best tech decisions i've made! It's my first mp3, and i am still trying to understand the filing system and why the folder "unknown" does not appear on my computer. It does not seem that i have as much control over the files and their placements as i would like. Otherwise, an awesome unit! I don't leave home without it ;-)

You don't need to install or sign up to rhapsody to load songs onto the Fuze. When you connect the Fuze to your computer it will show up as an extra device. There is a folder on the Fuze where you can copy music from your computer.
