Trenaman,
I found this <a href="http://www.navman.com/Navman/Templates/standardcontent____6296.aspx" rel="nofollow">link</a> on the Navman web site.

If you scroll down you'll see a link saying 'N-Series, iCN Series & PiN 570 Software Update'

This is an update to the GPS software on the Navman itself. Is that what you're looking for? You could try phoning Navman on 01293 780950 for further help.

I loved having GPS help for finding my way. Although the Navman Pin570 often froze and I needed to restart, the benefits outweighed the hassles. That was until I had to deal with Navman. The charge casing fell out of the unit. I have heard since that this happened with several of these models. This was just after my warranty ended. I was willing to pay to have it fixed but then started dealing with the Navman service department. They said they would upgrade my unit for the same price as repairing it. It WAS too good to be true. They told me there was no difference in the upgrade model but neglected to mention that it had none of the palm pilot features I had paid an extra $300 to get. They sent my broken unit back but still debited my visa with almost $200. Luckily they sent an invoice 3 months later because I hadn't noticed the debit. 3 calls later they couldn't trace the invoice that was posted to me and didn't return calls to let me know when they would fix their mistake. I will never deal with the company again - have never struck such incompetence or poor service.
