Many blogs have a search box where users can enter a search query. But did you know your readers could be missing out on valuable content? The problem with these search queries is that they only search your blog articles, not your blog pages or blog comments.
Over time, your blog comments can accumulate a wealth of information. Whole conversations can take place there. Readers searching your blog may be interested in this information.
The Search Everything Wordpress plugin enables your readers to search all your blog content, including pages and blog comments.
Configuration is done via the plugin options page. You can even search metadata too.

I’ve been using this plugin for many months. It’s well worth a closer look.

I use Google’s search box on my website. Not only does it include pages and comments, but its results are more relevant than those provided by a plugin.

Chris, does a user get paid by Google if they have a Google powered search box on their website?

The Google search box is an option worth considering as Chris suggests. It produces good and professional looking search results. I did try it on this blog for a while but no one ever used it.
I wondered if tech-savvy people were put off from using the Google search box, knowing that it is Google and just another AdSense revenue stream?
I decided to go for a conventional search box in the end.

Good idea. I’ve never thought about that. It seems like it would blow open your searches.

Yes, if you use Google’s search box then you can take a cut of the
ad revenue.

I am trying to use this plugin but so far, it’s turning out to be somewhat of a pain. Perhaps you could help me figure this out? http://wordpress.org/support/topic/128652?replies=1

Have you tried searching for a single piece of text in a comment rather than a name in a URL?
