Java was fairly easy to pick up. I started using Java in 2000. I’d been using Visual Basic for 5 years prior to that, so the transition over to Java wasn’t that difficult.

Once you’ve learned a few languages I find it gets easier to learn new ones. Of course there are always more obscure languages that take a while to figure out!

I’m mostly a Java developer. I don’t know much about Python.

Hey Dean,
You’re a software dev right?

I am in the process of learning python for no good reason (I just like to learn)… do you have any recommendations for programming tutorials outside of say python.org?

Eventually I will move on to other languages (and have to learn C++ and C# in school in Spring).
