I’ve been a big fan of Flickr for a while now and it is good to see the development team are introducing improvements and new features on a regular basis.
Last month Flickr introduced activity email notifications. This month I found out about an improvement to the Flickr slideshow feature.
One of things I didn’t like about the existing Flickr slideshow feature was the size of the photos. My family and friends would comment on how small the photos appeared in the slideshow, especially when you compare it to the slideshow feature on Google Picasa web albums.
I’m glad to see that Flickr has addressed this issue now. The photos are now much bigger and there are clear back and forward buttons to the left and right of each photo if you quickly want to skip backwards or forwards through the slideshow.
It is a definitive improvement over the old slideshow.
