My apologies if the web site was sluggish or non-responsive over the weekend. My recent review of Ubuntu 7.04 made the front page of distrowatch.com so my blog got a lot of welcome publicity which is good.
The following graph from Google Analytics shows the spike in traffic. Google Analytics has reported 6000 views so far and the Popularity Contest Wordpress plugin is reporting 7000 views. Not sure why there is such a difference in the reporting figures?

I’ve installed the wp-cache Wordpress plugin now which will make this site faster and more responsive when traffic levels hit large numbers.
If you’re one of the new visitors to this site then I hope you enjoyed the post. I’ve written several other Linux articles which you might be interested in reading. I’m a big fan of Linux so this is a topic I will continue to blog about.
