		<description>Have you looked at the possibility of using logrotate? so that when the log file gets to a certain size it rolls over to a new log file, so you end up with something like z.log, z.log;1, z.log;2 where z.log is the most current log file.

		<description>Tell you what I&#039;m after for managing my websites. Something that removes older entries from logfiles, without simply truncating the file. You&#039;d have though that Linux would have had a command for that, but I can&#039;t find it. Any ideas?</description>
