I’ve taken the plunge and updated my blogs to WordPress 2.1. The whole process went pretty smoothly, and despite my reservations, all my plugins appear to be working correctly. The only thing I noticed was that the link category IDs had changed, so I had to modify my sidebar.php file to match the new category IDs.
Apart from that no problems so far. The only thing I did notice was that the post editor was missing all the formatting buttons. I fixed that problem by clearing the browser cache.
