Back in October I was blogging about the Scrybe Online Productivity Suite.
At the time I registered my interest in the beta program but heard nothing. Finally this week I have received an email from Scrybe.
Below is the message I received. It says that signups will be available to all at the end of Beta Phase 3. Beta Phase 2 only started this month so I think there will be some time to wait before the beta program is available to all.
“We have been blogging regularly about our progress so far. Since it has been a while that you expressed interest in Scrybe, we wanted to give you a quick update. We have covered significant grounds since we went public. Beta phase 1 was launched on Oct. 31, 06. This beta included Calendar and Power Lists. A number of updates have been made, based on user feedback. Some of the functionality originally planned for Beta Phase 3 (e.g. Importing CSV and iCal files), was introduced in Phase 1. On Jan. 09, Beta Phase 2 (ThoughtPad) was rolled out.
All the features demoed in our introductory video are available to the current beta users. These features include Calendar, based on fish eye views, Power Lists including List Transfer capabilities, GlobalTimez, PaperSync, and ThoughtPad with Bookmarklet for web clippings. Beta Phase 3 will include Sharing with your Contacts and managing Multiple Calendars along with some more features requested by our users in the previous phases. We are trying our best to roll out these innovative features as fast as we can.
We regularly add a few thousand queuing users in our beta program. As we have a huge numbers of beta requests, it is difficult to answer queries about when specific users will receive their invitations. We intend to remove restrictions on signups at the end of Beta Phase 3, at which point, everyone will be able to sign up.
The exact pricing strategy for Scrybe has not been finalized. However, based on the current behavior and user trends, we definitely intend to offer a free account that is not crippled and will be useful to a vast majority of users. You will be informed, as soon as we have firm dates for upcoming milestones.
We hope our hard work will make it worthwhile for you. Thank you once again for your interest and patience.
Cheers,
The Scrybe Team.”
