It should take about 4hrs to charge it via USB.

I don’t think you can connect the shuffle to your car stereo using a USB cable. I think you need a 3.5mm stereo cable. One end plugs into the headphone socket on the shuffle and the other end plugs into an AUX socket on the car stereo.

hi all i have just brought a secound hand ipod shuffle its takin ages to charge the battery,i have put my music on it but when i put the usb in my car stareo it says no files found could some1 please help me as its very hair rating how long dose it take to charge and then connect to my car thanks all
